This Baron had been modified several times in
the past and holes had been cut for various pieces of equipment which were no longer in
the aircraft, and other pieces were not in the optimum location.
The entire Instrument panel was removed so the empty holes could be properly filled.
A BFGoodrich WX-500 Stormscope was
located on the aft radio rack and is displayed on the Garmin GNS 530 & 430.
The newly reworked floating instrument panel was painted and instruments were located to
provide for the most ergonomic and safe configuration for instrument flying.
A Garmin GMA-340, GNS-530, GNS-430, GTX-327 were located in the radio stack, a
previously installed Bendix RDR-150 was located below the 430 and above the 327. The
recently announced weather-overlay will be installed as soon as it becomes available
allowing real time weather to be overlaid on the 530 |
