Aspen Avionics:

We have installed many units as of August 2009 and so far these units have worked as advertised and are a top quality unit, very easy to use, crisp, crystal clear display even in direct sunlight.

Come by and see our demo model and play with the knobs...

The physical installation of the PFD will be relatively simple this unit will take approximately 40 to 50 hours on average. What you don't see from the pictures is that this unit also gets a GPS antenna with an internal Magnetometer (compass). This internal Magnetometer may require us to relocate existing antenna already installed on your aircraft. Also to be installed is a AHARS unit and a converter box that will interface all existing radios to the PFD.

Garmin G500 and G600:

We have sold several of these units and they are exactly what you would expect from Garmin - A top quality unit with easy to use controls and plenty of information at directly in front of the pilot.

This unit replaces the standard "Six Pack" instruments with Dual 6.5 inch color LCD screens 1 for the PFD and one for the MFD. This unit along with your standard avionics stack (audio panel, 430, 530, transponder, etc...) retrofits your current panel to today's true definition of "Glass Cockpit".

this unit is packed full of features including full flight instruments, moving map, charts, and more. Weather and traffic can be displayed for sources like Garmin's GDL 69 XM weather receiver and GTX 330 transponder or L3 Communications Skywatch and the coming Garmin active traffic system.

The G600 is for aircraft all aircraft and has a few added features like SVT - Synthetic Vision Technology!

The G500 is much better priced and is certificated for aircraft with a gross weight of 6,000 lbs and less

Download the brochure here or give us a call and we'll be happy to discuss what it can do!
